For more detailed data, you need to purchase the premium plan. Just like SEMrush, Ahrefs is also a complete tool where you can perform a link audit, keyword research, and competitor analysis. So, this paid tool is also worth but I prefer SEMrush.

Moz Link Explorer is an old and still popular backlink checker tool. Moz Link Explorer shows the data that Moz uses to measure DA and PA. Moz Link Explorer can be used for free but this tool works best if you have a paid account. In the free account, you can perform 10 searches a day.

This tool also provides a good backlink profile and backlink data. It shows one Link per domain. You can also export this data as PDF or CSV format.
7. Google Search Console
Google Search Console is also a free tool that aims to help webmasters. Along with search queries and issues with your website, it also shows the link data. Once you have verified your website here, you will get a proper backlink report with linking domains and backlinks. You can check the top 1,000 results. But this tool just provides the links. You cannot see if the backlink is worth enough until it is from a very popular domain that you know. This is the reason I am keeping this backlink checker tool low in this list.
