This tool helps you in getting keyword ideas and calculate their traffic potential. Ahrefs not just tells you keyword search volume and difficulty but it also tells you the number of backlinks you need to make for ranking your page on the first page of Google.

I also used this tool for a few months and found good results. The only issue I faced was a slow speed. It takes enough time to load results. I switched from Serpstat to SEMrush. Serpstat is cheaper than SEMrush. So, if you think SEMrush is costly, you can go with Serpstat. You can find keywords for Google.com or any other country-based Google Search engine.

Ubersuggest is also a free but effective keyword research tool. This tool also gives useful information about keywords that help you in making your SEO strategies. Ubersuggest also provides you the data that is not available in Google Keyword Planner. You just need to type the keyword and then click on suggest. It will show you keyword search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC and more data. You can further click on any keyword to get similar keywords that you can use in a single article to make it even better. Keyword Sh!tter is another free and easy to use keyword research tool where you can enter a keyword and find the related keywords. This keyword suggestion tool shows you a long list of profitable keywords but doesn’t show anything else. You just get a list of keywords.
